Carl Froch and girlfriend 'enjoy steamy romp following sex ban'

Carl Froch has revealed his sex life is no longer down for the count following his victory in the ring against Mikkel Kessler.

The boxer is unlikely to have used condoms for months after sticking to a self-imposed sex ban as he prepared for the bout - but he has told the Sun that there have been "fireworks in the bedroom" after he defeated his Danish opponent on Saturday night (May 25th).

Not only did the win see Froch adding the WBA super-middleweight belt to his IBF crown, it also meant the sex ban - which included him and his stunning partner Rachael Cordingley sleeping in different beds - could be lifted.

The 35-year-old champ said it was very difficult to keep his hands off his model girlfriend, but explained it was one of the sacrifices that was necessary in order for him to beat Kessler.

Speaking of the couple's first romp in three months, Froch said: "When it finally happened it was like our first time - like falling in love all over again."
