Condom sales increase as lovers keep each other warm
Sales of condoms in the UK have increased as a result of the recent cold weather.
The Sun reports that retailers have seen purchases of the contraception method escalate by 25 per cent above normal levels over the last four months as couples choose to keep each other warm between the sheets rather than heading out into the wind and rain.
Consumers have not only been stocking up on condoms, however, as shops have reported a climb in sex toy sales and sex aides designed for lovers.
It appears the hazardous weather, which saw many parts of the UK covered in snow, has resulted in people deciding to make their own fun without needing to leave the warmth of their homes.
Last month saw the worst snowfall in Britain during March for 30 years - but it seems the British public had other ways of keeping warm as they looked to keep heating bills down.
