Dual same-sex wedding an in-flight first

Two homosexual couples have entered the record books after tying the knot on board an aircraft, news which may be of interest to people looking to buy gay condoms.

Aleksandar Mijatovic and Shantu Bhattacherjee from Germany said I do alongside lesbians Ewa Tomaszewicz and Gosia Rawinska from Poland.

The newlyweds were chosen to become the first people to have a dual same-sex ceremony while soaring thousands of feet above the ground.

They boarded the SAS Scandinavian Airlines Airbus A340 on December 6th and exchanged vows during the flight to New York.

According to the Pink Paper, the chief commercial officer of the carrier Robin Kamark said: "SAS is the national airline of three of the world's most liberal and progressive countries in the world … so we feel this is a natural celebration of love."

Back in May 2009, easyJet announced it was looking to introduce in-flight marriages officiated by pilots.
