Durex to change brand signature

Fans of Durex comfort xl condoms might be interested to hear that their favourite brand is currently undergoing a bit of a signature change, with Love Sex. Durex soon to be the accompanying mnemonic to a campaign for its Feeling range.

Developed by McCann Manchester, the ads will be gracing UK TV screens from November 25th in a bid to promote more "magical" sex, with brand manager Richard Smith proclaiming it to be the company's "best-ever" marketing campaign.

"[It] researched extremely well," he explained to the Drum. "It was our best-ever scoring Durex TV ad in pre-testing and clearly has the potential to help shift perceptions of the Durex brand."

Filmed in Brazil, the commercial sees Durex freebies handed out to young people.

It comes after the manufacturer brought out the Love-Box, smart packaging for novelty condoms and other prophylactics that aims to reduce any awkwardness associated with buying condoms.
