E. L. James reveals Fifty Shades of Grey stars

The release of the book resulted in sales of bedroom accessories - such as sex lube - going through the roof and the same thing could be set to happen as the release of the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey nears.

Fans of the erotic novel by E. L. James, which was part of a trilogy also including Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, will no doubt be excited to hear that the actors set to play the lead roles have been revealed.

James announced via her Twitter page that Anastasia - a character who goes through a voyage of sexual discovery in the story - will be played by Dakota Johnson, while her S&M-loving boss Christian is to be portrayed by Charlie Hunnam.

Johnson's film credits include The Social Network and 21 Jump Street, while Hunnam is perhaps best known for the character Jackson 'Jax' Teller in biker drama Sons of Anarchy.
