Free condoms handed out in California
Free condoms have been handed out in California, US, to help promote safe sex messages.
People in Upper Sproul were treated to the prophylactics as part of Mind and Body Awareness Week's Self-Care and Self-Pleasure Day, the Daily Californian reports.
In addition to giving out the products, other activities included a trio of individuals dressed up in sex-themed fancy dress outfits.
These ensembles included a giant penis, a tube of lubricant and a condom.
Visitors were also invited to draw pictures of genitalia on a poster board in the style seen in the film Superbad, which starred Jonah Hill, Michael Cera and Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
People working at the event handed out goody bags to those passing by, with several sex-related products included, such as two condoms, instructions, a couple of packs of lube and a list of sexual health resources.
Earlier in the month, the National Survey of Family Growth revealed increasing numbers of US teenagers have been using condoms since 2002.
