Having regular sex 'makes women happy'
The amount of condoms partners get through could offer an insight into how happy the woman of the relationship truly is.
New research carried out by Top Sante magazine has revealed females who have sex regularly report feeling happier than those who aren't getting any.
The findings showed that 33 per cent of those getting down to business more than twice a week would describe themselves as very happy - markedly higher than those who have sex every two to three months and would say the same (15 per cent).
It was also discovered that nine per cent who get down and dirty every week feel very anxious, compared to 20 per cent of those who enjoy relations less often.
Jane Druker, editor of Top Sante magazine, said: "The findings were shocking and sad, especially in light of the fact that sex makes us feel good which helps us live longer and it's free."
