Increased UK HIV rate points to need for condom use
The importance of buying condoms has been highlighted by the news HIV infection rates in the UK have almost doubled in the last decade.
According to statistics released by the Health Protection Agency (HPA), the number of new cases in 2010 was nearly 3,800, which represents a massive increase from the 2001 figure of just under 2,000.
In order to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted infections, individuals need to practice safe sex and may want to consider buying condoms online.
Dr Valerie Delpech, head of HIV surveillance at the HPA, said she wants to see testing for males to increase throughout the country.
"Three-out-of-five HIV-positive individuals that die are diagnosed too late to gain the most health benefits from their treatment, like increased life expectancy," she added.
One famous and outspoken supported of safe sex methods is Lady Gaga, who thinks children should be educated about the issue from an early age.
