Lady Gaga 'a supporter of safe sex'
Lady Gaga has come out in support of safe sex, adding children should be taught from a young age about its importance.
The singer, in an interview with Grazia, said her mother told her from an early stage what to expect and she would encourage others to follow in the same route.
Once teenagers are educated, there is a better chance they may choose to use condoms when having intimate relations.
"I didn't lose my virginity until I was 17. But I have to say even then I wasn't ready and it was an absolutely terrible experience," Gaga remarked.
She added she only started to enjoy sex two years ago, whenever she felt comfortable enough to express herself in a monogamous relationship.
Gaga has released her own Mac lipstick, with the proceeds from the beauty product going to help HIV and Aids charities.
The performer is due to bring out her new album soon.
