Morning intimacy 'good for health'

Condom users may be interested to hear that having sex in the morning can help boost a person's mood and health, according to one expert.

Because It Feels Good author Dr Debby Herbenick explained that getting intimate with a partner before leaving the house for work can be beneficial in a number of ways.

She described how the feel-good chemical oxytocin is released, which helps to make couples feel bonded and happy throughout the rest of the day.

"It makes you stronger and more beautiful too. Morning sex can strengthen your immune system for the day by enhancing your levels of IgA, an antibody that protects against infection," Ms Herbenick added.

The sex specialist also claimed that a woman's level of oestrogen is given a boost and this can improve the tone and texture of hair and skin.
Women's Health Magazine recommends having a shower together to start the day in a romantic but practical way.
